Previously, Kirit was at United Clearing for seven years as founder and Managing Director. Prior to moving into the mobile industry, Kirit worked in banking and software for over 20 years at companies such as Reuters and SunGard. He also had the privilege of working for Steve Jobs at Next Software, which was later sold to Apple.
Kirit would like Nextgen Clearing to build on its success and establish itself as the number one company in the clearing sector, by developing new, innovative products and services.
Deputy CEO & Chief of Staff
Mike has been a key person steering the organisation, its structure and most importantly the vision of getting the most out of the talented teams that have been built. In his role as Deputy CEO, he strongly believes that getting this right is the key to each individual’s ambitions and that of the company’s.
Mike has over 30 years of senior level experience in banking, FX trading and corporate finance, as well as mobile clearing as the first investor in United Clearing in 2001.
Mike has been instrumental in the foundation of Nextgen Clearing as an investor and advisory board member since the company was formed 10 years ago.
Chief Commercial Officer
Jean previously held various leadership positions in Sales and Product Management for different Service Providers, Carriers and Mobile Operators. With over 12 years of experience in the Roaming industry, he brings considerable commercial and technical skills to Nextgen’s leadership team.
In his role as CCO, Jean ensures that Nextgen solutions exceed customers’ expectations, while addressing their needs and the challenges in the market today.
By working closely in collaboration with our customers, Jean drives product developments to materialise Nextgen’s long-term vision.
Director, Responsibility for Strategic Projects
Simon designed and built Nextgen’s financial clearing and IOT Discount Management systems and works closely with operators to understand their needs, ensuring Nextgen’s core products are meeting expectations. He believes Nextgen Clearing plays an essential role in building close relationships with people within the global roaming community by providing services that enhance and simplify their working lives.
Prior to joining Nextgen Clearing, Simon was responsible for the entire IT team at United Clearing, managing the development and infrastructure teams, as well as ensuring system integrity and uptime. He has a strong background in IT with over 15 years of experience with Oracle technologies and has been instrumental in building cohesive and highly motivated teams wherever he has worked.
Simon is focused on making sure Nextgen Clearing has the best products available to customers as the global rollout of 4G and 5G networks takes place over the coming years.
Head of Finance
Deepa aims to drive growth at Nextgen Clearing by developing innovative ideas and improving cost efficiency. Committed to exceeding expectations on projects, she has made significant headway towards her goals since joining Nextgen in August 2015, including creating the 2016 budget, compiling a full re-forecast for the business and providing top-level analysis on monthly management accounts.
An accredited member of the ACCA, Deepa has a background in major public sector companies. Her career has included roles at the NHS and the Guinness Partnership, which is one of England's largest affordable housing and care providers.
Deepa would like see Nextgen grow to become the industry number one for clearing services. She is committed to team success, business growth and motivated by seeing innovative developments taken through to their conclusion.
Global Director of Operations & Banking
Brian wants to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction from Nextgen’s financial clearing and IOTRON products. He coordinates all clearing and settlement functions, including standard operating procedure compliance, monthly SLA measurement and making recommendations for product development.
Brian began his career in the banking industry, working for Cibernet and then MACH prior to joining Nextgen in 2012. Instrumental in growing Cibernet through to its acquisition by MACH, Brian was the only member of the senior management retained through the process.
He wants to see Nextgen become an industry leader across all products and continue to attract investment. Growth is a key marker of Nextgen’s success, and Brian wants to ensure they stay ahead of the competition with new initiatives like IOTRON.
Global Head of Operations & Client Support
Helena’s role of Global Head of Operations and Client Support is to ensure operational excellence and the best support experience with Nextgen, for both Nextgen’s customers and their roaming partners.
Helena joined Nextgen in 2010, bringing her extensive experience from the customer side of our business. She previously worked for 10 years with mobile operator in Croatia in the finance and roaming departments being responsible for the E2E roaming settlement process.
Head of Strategy
Peter provides Nextgen Clearing with strategic direction and helps to identify and capitalise on business opportunities. Having held senior roles at a number of finance and IT service organisations throughout his career, Peter has had particular success building a presence for businesses in new markets.
Before joining Nextgen Clearing, Peter was on the board of directors at ADP/Quotron and CWB. He has also held various senior roles at ABS Computers, Honeywell and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems. In 2001, he founded sales and marketing consultancy firm, G4h.
Following several years of substantial growth and innovation to achieve its current position in the clearing market, Peter believes Nextgen Clearing is poised to establish a global reputation as the market leader every mobile network operator wants to work with.
Head of Compliance
Chris Walker began his career developing software for the CAD industry being involved with both 2D and 3D CAD systems in South Africa, UK and US. Following this he moved into Investment Banking and was instrumental in developing both a Front-office and Back-office Risk Management system for Nomura Investment Bank. During this time he was a founding director of Finsoft Ltd and helped develop the financial and workflow divisions of the software company until it was sold to Gtech in 2007.
During his time with Finsoft, he helped to win a contract to deliver a Data Management system for the European Central Bank (ECB). He was Product Manager during the development of the Centralised Securities Database project at the ECB and worked closely with the European Central Bank and the National Central Bank partners in rolling out the European-wide system to capture securities data.
Chris has a strong hands-on background in technical systems development as well as being able to work well with clients both at the technical and business level.
Global Director of Strategic Projects & Solution Implementation
Matt’s goal is delivering market-leading services and ensuring a positive customer service experience. In 2015, as Programme Director, Matt was responsible for project management across both Nextgen’s Data Clearing services and flagship IOTRON product. With IOTRON, he was responsible for re-defining what success and value looked like for customers, and cascading lessons learned throughout the business.
Matt was one of the founders of Nextgen Clearing and was instrumental in building the Financial Clearing platform. Prior to joining Nextgen, Matt was Head of Global Operations at United Clearing, where he managed the operations and banking. He has also worked for Euroclear Bank in Brussels, specialising in Corporate Actions and for the France Telecom Group where he led a review of France Telecom’s global settlement function.
Amar heads up the core development team and is responsible for continuous improvement of Nextgen’s services globally. He is also responsible for the vision, delivery and quality of the data clearing platform.
He believes incorporating facets of agile methodology are key to continuous innovation of Nextgen’s scalable platform, oriented around providing users with quality products.
Amar is focused on creating a corporate-wide vision and interoperability for all products and technologies. He believes expanding Nextgen’s Big Data architecture will be crucial for identifying what solutions customers and partners will need in the future, and this will help to drive scalable innovation.
Head of Technology & Infrastructure
Yogesh’s core strength is his ability to understand complex technical solutions and how their application can drive business outcomes. As Head of Infrastructure, Yogesh has used these attributes to develop solutions which enable Nextgen to achieve agile, sustained growth supported by robust IT systems.
He started his career more than 22 years ago, specialising in building and maintaining IT infrastructure for investment banking trading systems. During his career, he has held a number of other key positions in global financial services including Principal Consultant and Enterprise Architect, eventually becoming Head of Core Infrastructure at Nomura International. From this base, Yogesh went on an entrepreneurial path developing the infrastructures for companies specialising in back-office and IT support services in the UK and India.
Jürgen is focused on ensuring Nextgen’s services adapt for the evolving LTE landscape to maintain growth as billing and settlement technology demands change in the future. He believes Nextgen’s products do more to improve customer revenues and cash flows today than ever before, by offering them fast and cost-effective improvements to processes impacting end customers and roaming partners.
Prior to joining Nextgen, Jürgen held various positions in the mobile industry, including CEO, Vice CEO, COO at MACH. He was instrumental in the creation of a new data clearing platform, the merger of DanNet, and the final sale of the business from Advent to Warburg Pincus. Jürgen was the head of the Data Clearing House in EDS Germany, which later merged with United Clearing, before its acquisition by Syniverse.
